Using futures approaches underpins the design of successful organisational strategy that is robust into the future. The Building Strategic Futures guides will help you and your organisation integrate the future into your decision making today.
Why would I bother writing these guides? When I started out in the futures field in 1999, I didn’t know too much at all about futures work – well, to be honest, I knew nothing! It was a new field for me, and I was lucky enough to be able to spend some time exploring it and learning how it can be used in organisations. I was quickly convinced of its value in helping to ensure organisational sustainability in the future.
But, we all don’t have the luxury of that time available to us, particularly as the complexity and demands of our work increase daily. The Building Strategic Futures guides provide the foundation you need to get started using futures approaches in your work.
The guides provide enough information to get you going. They give you the fundamentals which you can customise for your organisation. If you need more than the guides provide, get in touch and we can talk about how I can help you get started a little more quickly.
